Kevin
Kevin is the philistine of the group. By day, he works. As night falls, he watches sports. Baseball and football are 1a and 1b, followed by basketball and to a much lesser extent, hockey. His attendance at awesome sporting events is dwarfed by Nick. He has attended the 3:00 AM Carlos Guillen walkoff game, Game 1 of the 2006 World Series, and game 5 of the 2007-2008 Eastern Conference Finals.
Nick
Nick is a law student at the University of Illinois, and a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in political nonsense and knowing everything. He is a devoted baseball fan who also loves college sports, and occasionally likes the other professional leagues, too. If he isn’t talking about or watching sports at a given moment, it’s probably just because he’s asleep. He’s attended 2 final fours, a no-hitter, an MLB all-star game, a World Series game, and he’s in the market for a used Rolls-Royce, if you have one.
Stephanie
Stephanie is currently a student at Kendall College of Art and Design, pursuing a BFA in art with a K-12 certification. While not as heavily into sports as as Kevin or Nick, she considers it a feather in her cap that she is a gal who knows the importance of OBP, admires Billy Beane, read Baseball between the Numbers, and never says the phrase “clogging the bases.” (Ok, it was ONE time! Only one time, Kevin!) Although her curiosity of baseball didn’t kick in until Kevin came about, she is now a loyal fan of the Tigers and finds that the most common subject of her cartoons is baseball. Fun fact: her dad helped make the netting at the Astrodome way back in the day.
